INFORMATION ASSURANCE CONSORTIUM

The IA Consortium was established in 2004 to promote the adoption of trusted information architectures, technologies, products and services.  We provide education and promote awareness to a diverse audience.

Our Vision

The Information Assurance Consortium envisions a genuinely reliable environment in which public and private sectors, including commercial entities, government organizations, and individuals can conduct their affairs in a secure, confident efficient, and verifiable manner.

Our Mission

The Information Assurance Consortium is a member driven non-profit 501(c)(6) organization dedicated to education, promoting awareness, and facilitating the use of trusted information architectures, products and services by the public and private sectors.

Our Philosophy

The Information Assurance Consortium guiding principle is to avoid "reinventing the wheel" by adopting or endorsing existing standards and technology wherever possible; and liaison or collaborate with existing organizations whenever possible.
