Wall of Shame

History

The IA Consortium was established in 2004 to promote the adoption of trusted information architectures, technologies, products and services.  It all began with an educational and awareness program for the American National Standard X9.95 Trusted Time Stamp Management and Security.

Fraud due to time manipulation where system clocks have been changed for the purpose of illegal activities is not theory, it is very real.  Refer to our Wall of Shame for real-world examples.  Our membership now includes liaison members with other organizations for mutual cooperation and sharing information.  The IAC has been instrumental in building market awareness and providing education at conferences, talking with companies and government agencies, and publishing white papers and articles.  Refer to our Activities area for more information.  Help is always needed, so check out our Membership area for getting involved.

Our Philosophy

The Information Assurance Consortium guiding principle is to avoid "reinventing the wheel" by adopting or endorsing existing standards and technology wherever possible; and liaison or collaborate with existing organizations whenever possible.
